After graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2015 from the National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Shinault traveled to the island of Mauritius. While there, he practiced in both a small clinic setting and a hospital setting. At Wellkin Hospital in Moka, Dr. Shinault found his true calling- helping people who have been struggling with chronic pain. While he was a visiting consultant at the hospital, he was able to help hundreds of patients avoid spine surgeries and return to their normal lives. Dr. Shinault returned to the USA in the summer of 2018 in order to catch up with his family and to share his clinical skills in a new setting. He has experience working alongside orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, general practitioners, massage therapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
His philosophy is simple: Identify the problem, understand the causes, and then create a plan to get better. Everyone is different, so each patient has a unique treatment designed specifically for their needs.
Dr. Shinault uses a combination of spinal manipulation, dry needling, soft tissue therapies, and active rehabilitation in order to help his patients reach their goals as quickly and safely as possible. Though he specializes in treating patients with chronic spinal pain, Dr. Shinault also treats patients with sports, motor vehicle, and workplace injuries.
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Shinault can be found cooking, playing strategy games, or exploring the city.
