Like so many students, Jenni first brought her karma-wrecked body to yoga at a local fitness center and quickly became enchanted with the life-transforming potential of this multi-faceted discipline. Naturally, a desire to facilitate similar possibilities of transformation in others led her to become a teacher herself. Now she has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2009. She holds certifications from Rolf Gates, Shamash Alidina and Bernie Clark, and currently studies with Jim Bennitt and James Tennant. She teaches a mindfulness-based Yin practice as well as all levels of vinyasa, restorative yoga, pranayama, meditation and nidra. Jenni celebrates yoga as a way to cultivate energy, and then wisely and skillfully apply that energy towards worthy goals. This could be as simple as staying with a challenging pose, or as sublime as scattering joy to all beings. Her practice emphasizes breath-enhanced movements and attention-enhanced breath; building a strong foundation on which to explore expression; and most importantly fostering illumination through brave and honest reflection. She intends for her classes to be physically and mentally challenging but emotionally restful, leaving students in playful communion with the world.
