My name is Kana Larry and I’m a Group Fitness Instructor, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Healthy Diet Planner, and Track and Field Coach. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I have my Bachelors degree in Business Management with a Minor in Physical Education obtained from Chicago State University. I grew a passion for Track and Field at the age of 11. Soon began to notice I had a huge talent with fitness in high school. I was a varsity cheerleader, varsity track star, ROTC, and weight lifter all four years of high school. I attended William Howard Taft High School and qualified for State Sectionals my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I then attended and ran for a Divison 1 university Jackson State University in Mississippi, then Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. After I graduated College I became an Assistant coach for North Lawndale High School for 2 years. Then the Head Coach of Track and field at Urban Prep Academy for Young Men. I incorporated my own Strength and Conditioning program, track and field AAU team, personal training, and healthy diet planner. I have 9 years of group fitness experience. I am CPR, First AID, AED certified as well! I’m excited to be your Rebounding Instructor! We will have a great workout, good vibes, positivity, encouragement, and most of all FUN!
